The Mighty 'Peche

Saw Depeche Mode at the MEN Arena on Thursday. Great show as ever (this was the fifth time I've seen them) although the song "Damaged People" is still pure, undistilled poo and killed the concert stone dead about half way through. Once Super Dave Gahan was back on the stage though order was restored and things suddenly became very, very good once again. One concert down, eight to go (so far this year).

Had my first Friday as setup co-ordinator this week. I was all of a panic about it as there was tons of kit to move around thanks to rooms needing to be cleared for soft courses, then reallocated elsewhere, and there were thirteen courses to set up in total. In the end it all seemed to go well and we were finished for 5.50 and on our way home soon after. Hurrah.

I've kind of falled off the writing wagon I'm afraid - I haven't touched "Can't Remember?" or "Within" for weeks now, which is terrible indeed, and "The Routine" and "The Ten" are still nothing more than ideas in my head at the moment. I'll get a grip soon, I promise.

Oh, and the laptop is fab :-) At the moment it is on charge yet again (so powerful that the battery only lasts about three hours) but it is working very well indeed. Currently considering upgrading my wireless network here at home to go with my newly upgraded ADSL connection which should be going live very soon.

Not a lot else to report. Sorry.
