{Croak} again

After a great start to last week with me passing my final CRM 3 exam and becoming one of the world's first MBS Certified Masters in the product, it soon went horribly wrong with a very unpleasant course, during which I developed a cold which resulted in me losing my voice again for the second time in a month. It is still very bad today but as luck would have it, I returned home on Friday to find a letter waiting for me from the hospital. My appointment with the ENT consultant about my throat problems has been scheduled... for tomorrow afternoon. Short notice or what? So I'll pop into work in the morning, come back here in the afternoon for the appointment, and see what happens. At least it won't be the usual story of "I had this problem... but it's okay now."

Yesterday was me and Lou's tenth anniversary of being together. Awww. Ten years since our first date, an ever so romantic trip to see "Trainspotting" at the cinema. How did we celebrate yesterday? We went to Asda, went to Trafford General Hospital (Lou's dad is currently in with appendicitis), then went to the Italian Job for a fabulous meal which I couldn't taste, all through which I croaked instead of talking, and we both constantly sniffed and coughed as we're full of colds. What a pair.
