At long last I've passed the CRM 4 Applications exam - probably the single hardest exam I've ever taken in the IT field (my A Level Economics paper was harder, but that's because I was baffled by the entire two year duration of the course apart from the unemployment bit, and achieved a super soaraway grade U for my sterling efforts) - so I have something of a "my work here is done" feeling at the moment. Last week I actually taught the installation & deployment course for the first time, followed by my maiden delivery of the customization & configuration class, and both went very well despite the best efforts of Microsoft's courseware development team. My word, there were a lot of mistakes in them.
But surely the best thing ever is the Nintendo Wii. Lou and I had fancied buying one for a while and we finally got our hands on one, AND a Wii Fit, a couple of weeks ago. Fantastic fun! Needless to say the Wii Fit said I was overweight, but as my balance is good it thought I was 28 years old. Lou, on the other hand, was at the lower end of "ideal" in her weight, but as she has a tendency to fall over things like air currents her balance wasn't so good and it thought she was 70. Oops. As for the games we're completely addicted to the golf, and although I started off being good at the bowling I've since become completely inept. Next on our "to buy" list is "Mario Kart", which looks ace.
My headaches seem to have settled down and although I get maybe one per day this is manageable for me. Less manageable was the bug I had this weekend - 24 hours of vomiting and diarrohea, neither of which was particularly good fun. Perhaps I should have gone on the Wii Fit afterwards to see if I had lost weight. Hmmm - a missed opportunity, perhaps.
Oh, and some good news from the hospital... I went for the old camera up the nose exam last week and after saying the letter "E" four or five times the consultant made approving noises and promptly discharged me. My vocal cords are back to normal! Yay!
Coming soon... Lindos 2008. And maybe sometime after that, some writing (haven't started that alphabet thing yet - sorry. I'm a bad person.)
