Exam boy strikes again!

I've just passed the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4 Customization & Configuration exam - yay! Still two more to pass to get the set, but I'm on my way with them at least. I did have a go at the applications exam a couple of weeks ago and failed it quite badly, and judging by some of the comments I've seen on various CRM weblogs it would appear that I'm not alone, everyone seeming to have got the same score as I did. Thankfully Microsoft are listening, and I've been asked for my thoughts on the exams in general, and I'm giving them all the help I can.

The only other real news to report is that the decorating continues and the upstairs of the house is now finished, today's focus being on the lounge which was half stripped when I left for work this morning.

Manchester is an absolute tip today after the UEFA cup final last night, empty bottles, cans and plastic glasses littering the pavement, and everywhere smells strongly of a heady blend of lager and urine - nice! It is strange being in a city which smells like a grotty pub, but bizarrely the outdoors has that exact same fragrance.

Still no hospital letter by the way.

Finally, we went to the "Here & Now" concert in Manchester earlier this week, a long - 3 1/2 hours! - 80s revival show. It started with Cutting Crew (famous song: "I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight"), then Johnny Hates Jazz ("Shattered Dreams", and they have a new lead singer), Curiosity Killed The Cat ("Down To Earth", only the singer was there, and he came across as a total knob), ABC ("The Look Of Love" - FANTASTIC!), Paul Young (like an embarassing dad in a way), Bananarama (drunk!) and finally Rick Astley (great!) An entertaining evening, if not a show I'd see again...
