Popbitch fame

Lordy - I'm famous in "Popbitch" circles. Not only have I made their "Weasels of the Month" chart, but I'm also mentioned in the latest mailout. Gosh. Please queue here for autographs.

Had a lovely week in Leeds running 2073 (SQL 2000 Programming). Great bunch of people, the course went well, I was in a particularly scatty mood, so it was all-round fun. I'm still not looking at evaluation scores - have stayed away from them since the end of last year - so I've no idea what the official verdict was, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Next week I'm back in Manchester for another 2073, which will actually be my first five-day course there since joining Remarc. Gosh.

Currently we're a bit snowed in as yesterday the weather went mad. We're off to Tatton Park or Dunham Massey for a walk in it this afternoon, so I'll take the camera and get some nice shots of snowy fun. Hope I don't slip though; I went out this morning to get my hair cut and went A-over-T in the middle of our road. Not good, especially as I hurt my knee. Bah.

"Can't Remember?" is still coming along well. I haven't really written much of it this last week as I've been chatting to Mica on the train in the mornings, so I must knuckle down to it next week and try to get it finished. It is almost done - just a few pages to go I think - and I'm pleased with this first draft so far, but will be doing more work on it when this one is finished. Next up will be either "Within" or "The Routine", both of which are in my thoughts a lot at the moment. I did something really stupid the other day though regarding "Within" and sent myself off in a bit of a state, which left me rather upset. Silly boy. Better now though.

More concerts have been booked. Our list is now: Depeche Mode; Dara O'Briain; The Cardigans; Take That; Paul Buchanan (of The Blue Nile); Foo Fighters. All we need now is The Big Man - come on, Prince - announce the dates!
