So, Konnie Huq has got engaged to Charlie Brooker. Obviously I'm absolutely devastated as everyone who knows me will confirm that I'm something of a fan. I'm glad that she's happy but I can't help but feel that something isn't right there. No, I don't know Charlie Brooker as a person, but it does seem a very odd match, especially having seen pictures of some of her previous partners, and it's not just that he doesn't look her "type" but his personality seems wrong too. Granted, he may be completely different to his TV persona in the flesh, but... it just doesn't seem right. I also find this article he wrote in 2009 a few months before they apparently became an item something of a worry.
Please be careful, Konnie. I'm worried about you. And gutted, obviously :-(
