Well, I survived the week, but felt dreadful by the end of it - not helped by the course being absolutely jam-packed with errors (thanks, Microsoft x) The tablets the doctor prescribed had loads of side-effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headaches, joint pain... and all of them hit me hard over the four days, and training wasn't easy, particularly with the dizziness and headaches. I contacted the doctor and he switched the medication from the nasty ones (Omeprazole) to Zantac, and immediately the side effects vanished. Hurrah!
Over the weekend I still felt grim, but the pain was now at the bottom of my ribs on my left side. So today I returned to the doctor. It turns out I have an inflammation at the "median" of my ribs. In English, your ribs are part bone, part cartilage, but as you grow older they become all bone. At the point where my ribs make this join between the two materials, I've got an inflammation. So I've been given a gel to make it go away. Hopefully it will work, because I'm bored of pain now and want to feel niceness again.
