Hello there.
Well, it's slowly getting better. I'm still getting a lot of pains in my chest but they seem to be more on the surface, and are sore to the touch which tells me they're not deep inside and therefore worrying. I'm covering myself with the gel the doctor prescribed, which is fine until it dries out, at which point I look as though I've covered myself with loft insulation as it goes yellow and fluffy. Hopefully the pains will go away before long. If not, I've booked myself a doctors' appointment for the start of June just in case.
Work is still as mad as ever, and I'm really despairing of the new courses Microsoft have given us. They're terrible - utterly dreadful, and it doesn't make for a happy trainer, I can tell you. I'm almost permanently in Leeds at the moment, and when I go back to Manchester it feels weird, which isn't good, is it? Coming soon though I've got a course in - hey! - Carlisle. Woo.
I'm still writing very, very, very slowly indeed. A couple of weeks ago I wrote another paragraph for "Chest", which is still a bit of a disappointment of a story but needs finishing so I can get it out of the way ready for "Clone", which is terribly exciting and I'm looking forward to it. That's not exciting as in a thriller, by the way - I'm just looking forward to writing that one, even though it will be very short. The stories so far ("Airport", "Bondage" and "Believe") have finally been posted on my website by the way.
Finally, I found out the other day that my next door neighbour is a DJ! Not a DJ as in weddings, bar mitzvahs, and Christenings, and "the buffet is now open, laydeezangennalmn.." - no, a DJ as in nightclubs and stuff like that! Well, he doesn't play the clubs any more (he did used to be a resident at Sankeys Soap though!) but he puts mixes together and releases them on the net. And do you know what? They're great! Here's some of his stuff, completely free of charge. If you Google him (search for Todos Kilchurn) you'll find he's done six of these mixes. I recommend 1, 2 and 5 in particular...
Back soon.
