I can't remember if I posted this before, but I really wish I could have visited Action Park and gone on everything! Surely this description of the place is the greatest Wikipedia page ever.
We went to see the Foo Fighters at the City of Manchester Stadium on Monday evening and they were... okay. It was the third time we've seen them and the show was pretty much identical to the concert they did at the MEN Arena last year, which made it awfully predictable and therefore rather disappointing. We've actually got tickets to see them at Wembley for this Friday and we're considering not going as it will probably be the same as the Manchester show, plus our tickets are for right up in the gods so we'll not see that much anyway. Besides, it is a heck of a long way to go for a concert which will probably be a let-down. We're thinking it over anyway.
The headaches are still annoying me but - touching wood - I've not had any so far today, which is probably the first headache-free day I've had in about five months. This weekend was awful as I had a headache which started on Friday morning and didn't subside until Sunday night, effectively ruining the weekend. I've been on the Propranolol tablets for two weeks now so hopefully they have finally started to work their magic for me.
Finally, a new band for you to try: This Will Destroy You. I bought their self-titled debut album on Monday and it is absolutely sensational. Their genre was what appealed to me: ambient thrash! Possibly the best album I've heard so far this year (sorry, Sparks and Spiritualized).
Oh, and guess who is presenting a programme about zoos on Channel 5 all next week? Here's a clue: She's gorgeous and called Konnie. I think I need to buy some more videos.
