REM

Wow - what a fantastic show. Saw REM at Lancashire County Cricket Club last night and had a fabulous time. Initially we were up in the stands, but we were once again surrounded by boring people who talked constantly and didn't clap or sing or dance, so we upped sticks and went onto the pitch, where we had a good old dance, I sang my heart out, and screamed like a girl when they launched into my favourite song of all time ("Imitation of Life"). To make things better still, they also did my second and third favourite REM songs, "Leave" and "Nightswimming." Fabulous performance, great atmosphere, and a brilliant production. Loved it, loved it, loved it.

Next concerts: Halle orchestra in Tatton Park next month (outdoor thing with picnic - mmmmmmm), then A-Ha in December (saw them a couple of years back and they were surprisingly good), and next March we're off to see Depeche Mode! Raaaaay!

Oh, and things are afoot... One thing I can say is that I'm changing ISPs, so this entire site needs migrating sharpish. There's also something else, but I can't really say anything about that...
