This week I've been deeply confused by an ASP.Net course. Because of how the schedule has panned out, I'm sitting in on this one before I've seen any VB.Net code (or XML for that matter) and so a heavy-duty VB.Net web development course with a fairly beefy slant towards XML has just left poor old me deeply confused. I'm hoping that when I eventually get to sit in on a "normal" VB.Net course in a few weeks various light bulbs will sputter on in my head and I'll start saying "ahhhh" from time to time, but we shall see.
Next week: 2261 and 2262 ("supporting users running [applications on] Windows XP") - two really rather cack courses, down in Hinckley. It also looks as though I'm in Hinckley pretty much every other week from now until about May :-(
Currently reading "Kafka on the Shore" by Haruki Murakami, and it is superb so far. Also I'm still not tired of listening to "The Great Destroyer" by Low, which is quite fantastic.
Nothing more to say. Quite boring at the moment. Sorry.
