A good week :-)

SQL 2000 Administration (again, but my last for 2004 according to the schedule) but this time it went really, really well and I enjoyed myself a lot. It's good when it all comes together like that. A good week then.

Better still is the news that I'm off next week. We're going to Edinburgh for a few days on our annual pre-Christmas trip, and we're both looking forward to it as we love the place. Then, when we get back, we're off to see Will Young at the MEN Arena (Lou's choice, not mine...), and the next day I'm off to Washington to sit in on my first VB.Net course. I've only been asking to sit on a VB course for six years now, so I'm hoping that after all this time I actually enjoy it - be pretty bad if I didn't.

It is looking good for me getting involved in the courseware testing and improvement for CRM as well, which is great news. I've also received word that my MCT 2005 renewal has been accepted, and my transcript tells me that I'm "legal" to run such courses as SQL 2000 admin, but in Portugese. Don't tell work, or they'll send me to Lisbon to do one.

Oh, and still no writing, but "Half Life 2" is getting even better. I'm now on the ninth level, called "Nova Prospekt" or something like that. Lou is hardly seeing me. She's going to kick off...
