Hello there.
Lindos 2009 was as wonderful as ever. This year we were in a different block at the Lindos View but it was still lovely and we had a stunning view of the Acropolis, especially on the days when I woke up way too early and saw the sunrise, when the sky turned from black into horizontal bands of black, purple, blue, red and orange. Incredible. Anyway, we saw all of our friends there, including Yannis, Fedra, Sheena, Alex, Jane, Manolis, Pete, Paul, George, Angela, Evipredes and Antonis, and made some new friends too. A fantastic place, and I hope we'll be back again next year.
On our return home, well, it all happened. A week or so after we got back to work my company was bought, so Remarc is now almost gone, and instead it's hello QA. QA bought Xpertise a year or so ago and therefore have their offices and staff too, so this means I'll once again get to see some familiar faces, which will be nice, and see the likes of Washington again, which won't be nice. At the moment it's all still a bit uncertain as we haven't been told much, but it's all being announced soon we're told, so until then it's a case of keeping fingers crossed. Again.
My health is its usual self too. I went for a blood test a week ago as requested by my doctor and have been called back to see him, but haven't been told why yet - that happens next week - but apparently it's nothing to worry about. Still upsetting though.
I haven't written any fiction of late, but I'm planning on doing more "Alphabet Project" stuff soon, including finishing "Can't Remember?" which will obviously be a another "C" story (and a damn sight better than "Chest"), and then starting the "D" story which will either be called "Deep" or "Dive" - probably the latter - which I'm actually looking forward to as it is going to be something a bit different. I am also working on a non-fiction project too, which will see the light of day soon.
Finally, Smoove B is back! Yay!
