Thank goodness Lou and I are off to Edinburgh for the weekend.
Hope you enjoy "Bondage" (that sounds so wrong) and that you're all excited about "Chest", which probably isn't about what you think it's about - me = legs, you see.
A tiny bit of bad news by the way: It would appear that the headaches are back.
In other news...
Work has settled down, I've now got a new title ("Product Specialist", in account of my big-up mad skillz with CRM) and I'm missing some of my recently departed friends - Paul Williams, Sean O'Connell & Calvin Riskowitz, this means you. It's going to be awful when my other pals (Damien, Simon, Judy) go next year.
My war with Orange rumbles on. I think they're hoping I'll get bored and leave it, but evidently they don't know me very well.
Last week I saw Low at Club Academy in Manchester and they were absolutely fantastic. Definitely my favourite band. This was billed as a Christmas show, and they played a short set of some of their more obscure tracks, followed by their awesome "Christmas" EP in its entirety (apart from "Silent Night"), accompanied by their support act, Ida (who also sounded excellent). All in all it was a magical show. A pity then that immediately after it I had to drive to Darlington to teach a course the next day and eventually arrived at my hotel at 1.45AM. Not great.
Tomorrow night I shall be here. Blow a kiss if you see me, but touch my garlic bread and receive a slap - and not in a good way.
