So at the end of 2005 I made some resolutions just for fun. As 2006 is almost over, how did I do?
1. Stop looking at my MTM scores every week. Yes, I managed to stick to this one, although towards the end of the year there were a couple of occasions where I had a sneaky look for one reason or another - usually relating to first teaches of courses. Pretty chuffed that I managed to stick to this one.
2. Lose weight. I think it has stayed pretty much the same, or maybe gone up a little bit. Must try harder.
3. Get fit. I didn't manage to join a gym or go out on the bike, and this is pretty terrible. I do still walk a lot (at least two miles per day on my commute to and from work), always stand up when I train, and always use the stairs rather than lifts or escalators, but I really must try harder. I feel like a blob.
4. Write! Well I wrote some stuff - "Katie's Hair" (now read 318 times on Bewrite!), "The Gap" and "Dinner", but considering they were all around 400 words or less a mere 1200 words in a year is pretty poor. "Can't Remember?" is still on the go but has been untouched for a long time now, and "Within" is still ongoing, but may be included in another project I'm currently working on. Hopefully I'll write more in 2007.
5. Keep in touch with my mates. I tried. Will keep on trying in 2007.
6. Be a better trainer. I'm getting better, and am really enjoying the new courses I'm picking up, but I want to pick up more, faster, and be better still. I know I can improve.
