Busy busy busy

Been a very busy week. Ran the CRM Applications course on Monday & Tuesday (it went well & was very enjoyable) and worked from home on Wednesday as we were having some minor building work done. Nothing exciting though. Through all of this I've been testing the CRM 1.2 course images, sometimes during lab exercises, sometimes at home such as on Wednesday, and also yesterday in work. Ended up in various conference calls with Microsoft in the States and chatting with various MS people through either e-mail or Messenger sessions, and there is going to be a lot more testing coming soon with new course notes and DVD images being couriered to me soon. I'm loving it :-)

Looking forward to the first TTT session w/c 19th in London, but I know I'll be terrified when it comes around. Me, in front of a room full of about twelve trainers from all over Europe - AAAAAGGHH!!!

Also it's the Wigan book festival next weekend (17th) so I'd better find a pen I can take with me for all the books I'll end up signing, har har. It'll be nice to meet some of the Bewrite crowd though.

Finally, yesterday was me & Lou's 8th anniversary - eight years since our first date, when I romatically took her to the cinema to see "Trainspotting." We went to the "Italian Job" last night, had a fabulous meal as always, and drank two bottles of Frascati. This morning I was up at 7:30 and felt decidedly hung over. I'm not the greatest drinker in the world to be honest - in fact, I'm pathetic.

Writing-wise there's nothing to report. "The Mood" is still not with me, which is a pain as I've got so many things I want to do. Oh, and I might be scrapping that encyclopedia idea as I think it's a bit rubbish really.

And in case anybody is interested I'm currently reading "The Minotaur Takes a Cigarette Break" by Steven Sherrill. I've only just started it but it seems quite good. You, however, really must read "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" by Mark Haddon if you haven't done so already. It is fabulous stuff but it made me cry my eyes out - if you've read the book and you know me, you'll know why.

Tata for now.
