I always get creatively "bunged up" between writing jobs and find it really hard to write anything at all. When this happens I normally end up writing something stupid and trivial, purely as a kind of a "mucking out" exercise. Last night I wrote such a thing in bed, so hopefully I'll get something decent written before, ooh, the end of the year.
Feel really frustrated that I've got so many ideas in my head at the moment and yet I can't actually do anything with them. Maybe this will help.
Oh, and I must mention "Fur TV" which I saw on BBC2 on Saturday night. It was one of those shows that tends to get hidden away in the schedules and you only discover by chance. Thankfully we discovered it and laughed like drains for half an hour. I really hope they show it again, or make a series out of it. Here's hoping.
